Typically when I shoot things I shoot them wanting the best possible result. This is a beautiful photo, with great colors and cute composition. However, when I first saw it I couldn't help but to think.. omg that is a lot of saturation. I have used techniques like this to make a photo pretty and nice to look at, but in the end thats all it really is. The background to me is what matters immensely, this very well may not be modified intently but it has the sure signs of it, to me it doesn't look natural at all. With that being said I urge you as a talented photographer to work more in the moment and when you capture the photo and less post production. In my opinion what we are doing in our own art is capturing a moment for what it is. To have the preconceived idea of modifying that moment is untrue to our art. Most people with a camera and a computer can and will do this now, making it even more important to keep that skill as a decisive photographer.

This is also my opinion. And I do not hold any bias against digital manip.
